Why choose Ruth
The author of five books, Ruth draws on a wide range of hands-on experience and expertise in personal and organizational change and transformation in Canada, the UK and Europe.
Her background in self-leadership, emotional intelligence in the workplace, building resilience, dealing with conflict, implementing change and positive psychology enables people to passionately and enthusiastically engage in creating authentic, purposeful goals, and then make those goals a reality.
How do I/We get to where I/We want to be from where I/We are now?
For Ruth, the goal of living life abundantly is to get people to a point where they’re creatively, proactively and authentically engaged in the often challenging process of transition and change.
She starts from the premise that there’s nothing missing in an individual’s, group’s or team’s capability to work with whatever challenge, change or transition presents itself.
Her facilitative style
Ruth’s interactions are invigorating, people-focused, experiential and action-orientated.
Ruth’s commitment to her own learning and development
She continues to hone her own living life abundantly through self-awareness, learning and developing. Ruth earned a Master of Science degree in Organizational Change (2000) and her PhD (2006) researched the authentic engagement of individuals within their professional lives, by looking at how they expressed their spirit in the workplace. This thesis was the first of its kind to be allowed as a viable research project within a Faculty of Business in any UK university.
She also holds a Certificate in Advanced Alternative Dispute Resolution (Meditation 2008) from the Faculty of Law, University of Windsor.
